Indoor: The mid-winter time period can be a crucial time for your indoor bonsai. This is often a period when there are many more cloudy days than sunny ones and trees at windows are receivingvery low light levels. The ginkgo is a deciduous tree with fan shaped leaves and a columnar silhouette in younger years, getting broader with age. Just how much better do plants grown in the ground than other methods? Initial plants were air layered maples purchased from the Midwest August show that were approximately 20 inches tall at the start with a trunk circumference of 4cm to 4.5cm .
