DESCRIPTION:May 7th meeting is Elle Nieto-Brodnick doing a demonstration on a shimpaku \nElle Nieto-Brodnick discovered her passion for bonsai appreciation and cultivation during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic while actively working in healthcare. \nHer journey commenced with immersing herself in online videos and attending enlightening lectures\, which eventually paved the way for her to participate in enriching workshops and classes conducted by esteemed individuals such as Andy Smith\, Owen Reich\,  Will Baddeley\, Julian Tsai\, and David Cutchin. \nEllie’s website ‘Bonsai Journey’ \n \n\nAs always… \nBring a tree to the meeting you have questions about.  Members are always encouraged to bring personal trees to the meetings for advice on care or styling from our many club artists.\n  \n\nMeetings are held on the first Wednesday (or the 2nd Wednesday if immediately preceded by a holiday)  from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at The College of Dupage campus in the TEC 1038b. \nThe college address is 425 Fawell Boulevard\, Glen Ellyn\, Illinois. \nMembers who are unable to attend in person may join via ZOOM.
