Dear Members,
I hope this letter finds you well and enjoying the beauty of spring with your trees.
At our recent meeting, we were treated to a fantastic demonstration by Elle Nieto-Brodnick on styling a Shimpaku Juniper. In just 90 minutes, Elle transformed an untamed tree into a beautifully styled bonsai. It was both inspiring and educational. A heartfelt thank-you to Elle for sharing her time, expertise, and passion with us.
To top it off, the styled tree was raffled off—and congratulations to Annie Krzysko, who won it!
Looking ahead, we’re excited about our upcoming general meeting on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. For the first time, we’ll be hosting a Bonsai Garage Sale, where members and the club can sell anything bonsai-related. This is a great opportunity to discover unique items, clear out your shelves, or simply connect with fellow members over shared interests. Don’t miss it!
In addition to our monthly programs, we have several special events planned for this summer:

Naperville Riverwalk Display – Sunday, July 13, 2025
Destination Asia Festival – August 2–3, 2025
These events offer wonderful opportunities to showcase our trees, engage with the public, and strengthen our bonsai community. We encourage all members to take part and help make these gatherings a success.
