Dear Members,
I hope this letter finds you well and enjoying the spring season with your trees.
At our recent meeting, we had an engaging and hands-on mini-workshop led by Linda Camp. Members had the wonderful opportunity to delve into the intricacies of wiring techniques. Under Linda’s expert guidance, we explored important details and best practices for properly wiring trees. It was a rewarding and educational experience, and I want to thank Linda for her time, knowledge, and dedication to helping us improve our skills.
Looking ahead, we are excited for our May general meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, May 7, 2025. We are pleased to welcome Elle Nieto-Brodnick, who will be demonstrating the styling of a Shimpaku Juniper. This promises to be an inspiring and educational session you won’t want to miss!
In addition to our monthly programs, we have several special events planned for 2025:
Annual Picnic – Sunday, June 29, 2025
Naperville Riverwalk Event – Sunday, July 13, 2025
Destination Asia Festival – August 2–3, 2025
These events offer wonderful opportunities to socialize, showcase our trees, and promote bonsai to the wider community. We encourage all members to participate and help make these events a success.
