Tree Sale – Chicago Botanic Garden

Hello,
I hope everyone is doing well and had a wonderful growing season. For the first time, I am opening up the tree sales from the Chicago Botanic Garden bonsai collection to the local clubs. Historically, the sale has only been for volunteers, and they do a great job buying stuff up, so there was not much left. This year, we have 16 trees up for sale with a wide range of refinement and costs. The list includes both hardy and tropical trees. Most are med to small trees. There is only one picture per tree in the PDF attached, so if you have questions or would like another picture, I can answer those questions and provide pictures.  This will be a good test run for this, and if all goes well, we can continue this sale as an annual or semiannual event.

Rules of the sale:
  1. Tree sales are on a first-come come first-served basis, and payment can only be received in check form made out to Chicago Botanic Garden, “tree sales” in the memo line.
  2. The education trees, as noted in the pictures, will need a separate check from the collection trees.
  3. Tree pickups will be done by appointment and preferably done Monday-Friday between 7 am-1:30 pm. There is an option for Sunday pick up in that same timeframe if you cannot make it during the week.
  4. These are prices I feel are very fair and firm
If you have any questions, let me know.
Best, Chris
