48th Annual Mid-America Bonsai Exhibition
This is an event hosted by the Midwest Bonsai Society at the Chicago Botanic Garden — an event we proudly support. It is separate from our own annual PSBS show.
Join us for one of the largest regional bonsai shows in the nation! The 48th Annual Mid-America Bonsai Exhibition, hosted by the Midwest Bonsai Society, features the Chicago Botanic Garden’s permanent collection of over 50 world-class trees alongside stunning specimens from bonsai enthusiasts across the Midwest and beyond.

Admission

Exhibiting Your Trees
Tree registration is free with no residency requirements. Registration opens in early August. All classes welcome. Note: boxwoods are prohibited per Chicago Botanic Garden policy.
